Medial pocket repair with thong bra?

I’m 4 weeks from downsizing and having a medial pocket repair. I did not have symmastia, but I did not like how close my implants were. My implants looked like they were touching and the sternum skin did lift, but the implants did not cross midline. I’ve been wearing a thong bra this whole time with a small rectangular piece of wood underneath the thong part for tension. When I take it off my breast stay separated; however, I’m scared they will move back together. How long should I wear the bra
