worried something wrong with left one. From start was more painful and puffed out near inner chest, after time begin to appear flat like square on side near armpit. After they dropped there is no roundness on lateral side, it’s more pushed in than the right, possible bottom out and feels squishier than the other one. Surgeon says nothing is wrong am I crazy? Asked if bigger implants would resolve he said yes I think it’s crazy I have to pay. Is it possible they popped?

Answer: Breast augmentation outcome To make an accurate assessment regarding the outcome of any plastic surgery procedure, we need to see proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before, and after pictures and ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took. Most people have the left breast sitting slightly higher on the chest wall and the right side. I think this is true for you as well and would be visible on your before pictures. At the same time your left breast has more. I believe some of your asymmetry may be visible on your before picture. Your left nipple position is lower than the right despite the fact that your left breast sits higher on your chest wall. To get a proper second opinion consultation, I suggest scheduling those is in person consultations with other plastic surgeons in your community. For second opinion consultations come prepared bringing with you a complete set of proper before and after pictures and a copy of your report. These are part of your medical record and can be requested from your current provider. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
