What’s the difference between mentor boost hand natrelle inspira cohesive. Interested in high profile highly cohesive max volume w minimal rippling. Also is an internal bra best w galaflex ? Or an ADM like strattice ? I’ve heard mixed reviews
Answer: Implant size and type Dear Aesthetic journey, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Cohesive Gel Mentor Boost is their latest implant that has a more cohesive gel. I think it's more similar to Natrelle inspira Soft touch than the Natrelle Inspire Cohesive. I personally only use Natrelle implants. They have 3 different levels of cohesiveness - Responsive, Soft touch and cohesive. You should see them, feel them and discuss what's best for you with your surgeon. If you want larger implants a mesh might be beneficial. Galaflex is the gold standard but can be palpable for up to 1.5 years. I've moved more towards Durasorb and TIGR mesh depending on implant size and anatomy. Strattice is helpful for revision capsular contracture cases but probably wouldn't recommend it in a primary breast augmentation setting.

Answer: Bellesoma Method The best internal bra technique is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers or small implants can be placed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Different implant manufacturers Is that natrelle implants are made by Allergan and the others are made by mentor. Neither brand has a significant advantage or disadvantage. Most plastic surgeons will have an account with one or the other company. Some plastic surgeons will have a accounts with both companies. Some plastic surgeons may have a slight preference for one brand over the other. Often it’s simply comes down to the cost of the implant. If you have a plastic surgeon, then I suggest you discuss your concerns with him or her. If you don’t have a designated plastic surgeon, then I suggest having a few in person consultations with plastic surgeons in your community to get an assessment and better understanding of treatment options. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
