For jawline or neck area is smartlipo, ultrasound lipo or laser lipo recommended or safe for neck, or is tumescent lipo the gold standard? Does one type yield better results for neck area?

I love micro internal ultrasound for neck lipo. It liquifies the fat, making it easier and more safely remove the fat. The heat it creates also stimulates collagen in the skin and on top of the muscle which leads to skin and muscle tightening.

Much more information is needed, such as your age, and a full set of facial and neck photographs to give you the best treatment choice. It's also very important to understand that there are two compartments of fat in the neck, and they're located both above and below the platysma muscle in your neck. The noninvasive treatments will give you very little improvement. Liposuction can only accomplish removal of fat deposits above the muscle. The fat deposits below the muscle have to be removed with a surgical neck lift, which also includes a platysma plasty to significantly improve the jawline. No skin removal is required on patients less than 50.

Most people seeking this treatment don’t have an abnormal fat distribution. Most people seeking this treatment have as the underlying problem an issue related to either the size or projection of the mandible.
Liposuction is the best treatment for the removal of excess subcutaneous fat when that treatment is indicated.
The name of the equipment, or the type of liposuction is irrelevant compared to the significance of understanding someone’s candidacy for Liposuction, and combined with choosing the right provider.
I suggest having multiple in person, consultations with plastic surgeons, who seem to have a lot of experience with these treatments. Ask them to show you as many before and after pictures as possible, as previous patients who have similar facial characteristics to your own.
