As I’ve grown older I hate smiling because of the lines and hollowness underneath my eyes. At first I thought tear trough filler would be a choice to consider, but after some researching I’m more inclined towards mid-face filler. I believe my cheeks have lost volume as I’ve aged and filled will help support my under eye hollow when I smile.

Answer: Upper Cheek HA Fillers Help Improve Both Cheek Contour & Under Eye Tear Troughs & Hollows The upper cheek is a major support for the under eyes. So, when there is volume deficit there, not only do the cheeks reflect this, but the under eye area can as well with the development of tear trough and under-eye hollows. At least from the photos provided, addressing the volume deficit in the cheeks with the use of a robust volumizing HA filler would be a reasonable place to begin. By contrast, directly treating the tear troughs would be like building a house without first putting in a solid foundation. Make sure to consult an experienced, board certified dermatologist and best of luck.
