I have found a surgeon I love after many consultations to perform my primary rhinoplasty. I am interested in getting dimpleplasty a couple of months before my scheduled rhinoplasty. I will also be getting cosmetic dentistry done the month before to replace veneers. Not ideal as I’m scared the breathing tube will hit my new teeth but because of work this is the timeline I’m looking at. So any issues with dimpleplasty first?
Answer: As long as you can open your mouth widely after dimpleplasty, subsequent rhinoplasty should be fine. Many surgeons, myself included, insist upon general anesthetic before rhinoplasty surgery. During general anesthetic, somebody's mouth is opened widely to facilitate placement of an orotracheal tube. As long as this is okay after dimpleplasty, all should be fine. Wishing you well! Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: Correct timing of rhinoplasty after dimpleplasty? Dimpleplasty is an operation of the cheeks and will not interfere at all with rhinopalsty surgery. Best of luck!

Answer: Correct timing of rhinoplasty after dimple plasty It doesn't matter, which one comes first, the dimple plasty or the rhinoplasty. You can also consider doing them at the same time. Rhinoplasty is the most complex procedure to perform correctly in the entire field of cosmetic surgery, so choose your rhinoplasty surgeon wisely based on producing natural results.

Answer: Dimple surgery and rhinoplasty surgery.Temple surgery and rhinoplasty surgery. I suggest you consider having the rhinoplasty and the dimple surgery done at the same time. Dental injuries from anesthesia do sometimes happen, but it is not particularly common. When dental injuries happen, it’s typically not from the plastic breathing tube but rather the metal laryngoscope used to insert the tube. It’s not always necessary to do endotracheal intubation for rhinoplasty surgery. if you have questions about your upcoming procedures, then I suggest you forward those questions to your providers. They are after all the ones who will be doing the procedures. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD

Answer: Correct timing of rhinoplasty after dimpleplasty? The timing of undergoing rhinoplasty after dimpleplasty, or vice versa, can depend on several factors, including the extent of each procedure, the individual's healing process, and the recommendations of your plastic surgeon. However, there are some general considerations to keep in mind: 1. Complete Healing: It's essential to allow adequate time for the initial healing and recovery of the first procedure before undergoing the second one. For dimpleplasty, this typically involves waiting at least 4-6 weeks for initial healing, although full healing may take several months. Similarly, rhinoplasty may require a similar timeline for initial healing. 2. Surgeon's Guidance: Consult with your plastic surgeon who performed the first procedure for guidance on the timing of subsequent surgeries. They can assess your individual healing progress and provide recommendations based on your specific circumstances. 3. Staged Procedures: In some cases, plastic surgeons may recommend staging the procedures, performing one surgery and allowing for a full recovery before proceeding with the next one. This approach can help minimize risks and optimize outcomes. 4. Consideration of Swelling: Both rhinoplasty and dimpleplasty can result in swelling, which may take several months to fully resolve. It's essential to consider the potential impact of swelling from one procedure on the recovery and outcome of the other. 5. Overall Health: Ensure that you are in good overall health before undergoing any surgical procedure. Take the time to recover fully from the first procedure and address any post-operative concerns before proceeding with additional surgeries. Ultimately, the timing of undergoing rhinoplasty after dimpleplasty or vice versa should be discussed with your plastic surgeon. They can provide recommendations based on your unique situation, goals, and medical history to ensure the best possible outcomes and minimize risks.
