Hi, thanks for sharing your photo. For a 25-year-old with your neck contour, I would probably not recommend a neck lift. I also think Kybella may be a bit underwhelming for you.

To get the best results, you have break down and identify all the "problems" of an area; the best results will be a plan that identifies as many of these issues as possible. For you, it looks like a bit of excess submental fat, mild skin laxity, and under-projection of your chin. In order to address all of these, I would suggest submental liposuction (for excess adipose in this area), FaceTite - minimally invasive approach that induces soft tissue contraction with radiofrequency energy (for the skin laxity component) and fat transfer to the chin (for chin under-projection).

From the one very limited photograph, there appears to be a recessive chin profile for which a chin implant can improve the projection of your mandible. In the neck itself, there appears to be fat deposits located both above and below the platysma muscle. To remove both compartments of fat requires a neck lift with a platysma-plasty. No skin removal is required. Also important to Make sure your BMI is less than 30 for optimum results

It appears that you have a congenitally small chin and perhaps malocclusion issues. Certainly a neck lift with a chin implant will give you the most dramatic result but at 25 you might try the chin and neck lipo to see if this gives you what you want. Could always do the neck lift in the future. Sometimes less is Best!

To understand this aspect you should consult with oral surgeons or cranial facial surgeons we could have an oral surgery or plastic surgery background.

Indirect treatments not addressing the primary problem that will help include reducing the fat and suspending the platysma muscle and skin envelope. A neck lift typically includes reducing the fat and lifting the platysma muscle and skin envelope up to and behind your ears. It creates a hammock affect lifting up the neck and it’s typically pretty successful especially for facial aging. A neck lift is a more aggressive approach and should potentially give more of a result.

Fat reduction alone preferably through liposuction will help to some degree. Liposuction gives far more impressive results in those who are chubby or slightly overweight.

Recognize the primary problem is based on bone structure and not soft tissues and that soft tissue manipulation is not treating the primary problem and this may be why you have been getting different recommendations.

Your situation it’s not the easiest or most straightforward to correct and this is why there may be ambiguity.

You have an underdeveloped lower jaw not only in profile but also the width/front view. If you consider a genioplasty and jawline augmentation, it will provide long term benefit to the support of the overlying soft tissue 'and' improve the appearance 'under' the chin. Liposuction can be 'added' but it is not the primary approach. Certainly, cost will be an issue but consider the long term
