Had chin lipo 8 months ago. What are these bumps under my chin? (photos)

The volume that you are concerned about is predominantly situated under the practice my muscle in there for outside the reach of liposuction. In fact, in the tissues the tissue types that produce these are balloons would not be suitable for liposuction anyway.

Towards the sides the main volume that you are looking at is the lower part of to salivary glands, the submandibular glands. Closer to the midline, under the chin you are looking at the volume of the digastric muscles.

It is possible to reduce the structures with open surgery, the short scar neck lift or anterior neck lift interventions.

For the submandibular glands come on botulinum toxin type A and has also been discussed as a potential management, but I'm not sure they would produce sufficient change for you to feel the problem is solved. You would need to discuss this with a specialist that has more experience with the nonsurgical treatment for submandibular glands volume excess.

The contour under your chin is it based on the underlying anatomic structures including what it looks like an uneven fat distribution from your procedure and how the skin drapes.

I think your procedure was not done as well as it could’ve been.

There may be other variables like skin laxity, substitute a small fat and bone structure to contribute to some degree.

Follow up with the surgeon who did your procedure or have a few in person second opinion consultations.

Whenever getting an assessment on the outcome of a procedure you should always post proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before and after pictures and ask the surgeon who did your procedure to forward the ones they took.
