will lower blepharoplasty get rid of these bags and lines?
The primary goal for a lower blepharoplasty procedure is to remove the fat bags from an incision on the inside of the lower lids. When there's extra skin present at rest (not when smiling), then a small incision is made right below the lower eyelash line and a conservative pinch of skin is removed. In our practice, we close that incision with tissue glue. No stitches necessary. The procedure is performed under a brief general anesthesia and outpatient procedure.
