Can I get a BBL after an ileostomy reversal surgery?

every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. You will need to get a clearance from your doctor prior to surgery. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.

You’ve been through a lot. Are you sure do you want to continue having surgical procedures?

Having had a previous ileostomy, which I’m sure you’re glad to have reversed, should not prevent you from having a BBL.

Other than that there are a few things to consider.

You’re still pretty early out from your treatment and perhaps it makes more sense to let everything heal up and live life a bit before signing up for more procedures.

Your last chemotherapy was just a month ago. Do you really want to go back and have surgery this soon after finishing cancer treatments?

What is your long-term prognosis?

Did you have radiation as part of your treatment? If so then any area involved with radiation should not be treated with Liposuction or fat transfer.

Your situation is complex. If your having a BBL is very important to you than simply move forward and start scheduling consultations.

I would highly encourage you to have in person consultations and schedule more than one.

Perhaps staying away from surgeons for a while may also be prudent.
