I dyed my hair a week before my surgery and since it’s red the dye still comes off when washing it. I had surgery a week ago and have been afraid of washing my hair. Is it ok to wash my hair now or do I still have to wait?

Answer: Double-check with your plastic surgeon. At a week after your mommy makeover, you should be able to wash your hair, but check in with your plastic surgeon’s office first just to be sure. Everyone has different protocol for these sorts of things. It’ll also depend on which procedures you’ve included in your mommy makeover and whether or not drains were used.
