I dyed my hair red before my surgery and dye comes off when washing it. Is it ok to wash my hair now or do I still have to wait?

Make a phone call to your plastic surgeon's office to obtain an answer to your question.  His/her advice will be better than mine as I do not know how you are healing or the extent of your surgery.

It is probably safe to wash your hair, but this is something you should ask your surgeon who knows you best. Good luck.

At a week after your mommy makeover, you should be able to wash your hair, but check in with your plastic surgeon’s office first just to be sure. Everyone has different protocol for these sorts of things. It’ll also depend on which procedures you’ve included in your mommy makeover and whether or not drains were used.

It should be fine to wash your hair at a week post op, but as opinions vary it is best to check with your surgeon.  He/She is most familiar with the details of your surgery and how you've been progressing through recovery.

Best to run this question past your PS but usually at a week postop you should be able to wash your hair. 

There should be no problem with washing your hair, but please ask your surgeon.  He or she is responsible for your care and should make all the decisions.
