So I have not technically been diagnosed, I have some symptom. Was having trouble breathing and my dr told me to take nexium so I just started that. My surgery is scheduled for 2 1/2 week. I have my pr op appointment next week, was just curious what to tell my surgeon and if I will be able to still have my surgery?

Answer: Clearance for Mommy Makeover LRod77. Gastric reflux is a fairly common medical condition and readily controlled with medications like Nexium. It should not interfere with your upcoming surgical plans. However, you need to update your plastic surgeon regarding all aspects of your medical history and obtain medical clearance from your doctor prior to surgery. Good luck.
