Vision problems after Rhinoplasty

Question

I had a rhinoplasty 10 months back. I had a bump removed and nose reduced in size. Ever since the surgery my left size has been healing nicely and left side has been giving me issues. The vision in right eye has also gotten bad. I was being patient and hoping it would go away but it hasn't. So my question to the doctors is that, can rhinoplasty change your vision. What could be going on? And what should I do?

Vision problems after rhinoplasty. Immediately after surgery patients may have temporary vision problems secondary to eyelid swelling. This is not normal 10 months after surgery. Consult with your surgeon for referral to an opthalmologist for evaluation.

Dear exclusive12, In the immediate recovery phase after rhinoplasty patients may have some change in vision due to swelling and bruising, however at ten months post surgery this is not a known complication. see your surgeon for a follow up appointment. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D.
