6 months ago post vaser lipo on my abdomen, back and upper arm. How do I get rid of lumpy, hard areas? (photos)

This can be due to the collection of blood and serum in the multiple tunnels that are created during the procedure. Scar tissue will also form causing some lumpiness. Consider BodyTite for a revision with a board certified plastic surgeon to smooth out the areas.

Thank you for your question and photos. I suggest you seek consultation with board certified plastic surgeons who are well trained in VASER Hi Def Lipo technique. It seems that your surgeon might've had the right idea, but his/her delivery was very poor. Your surgeon attempted to define the semilunar lines, but these are not in the correct anatomical location, look unnatural with other unnatural groovings present and poorly contoured areas. I would have to examine you but it appears that this is a contour irregularity after liposuction.  This happens often when areas the undergo liposuction are not feathered appropriately.
The good news is that it can be fixed and I have done so with good results before. The revision can often be done under local as well.While there is always a chance for contour irregularities with liposuction, someone who takes their time and uses the appropriate sized cannulas should give you a superb result.I have all my patients wear compression garments and I use multiple sized cannulas to feather out the result.

Hello,At this point, you have irregularities that are permanent and will require revision liposuction surgery. My suggestion is to choose a plastic surgeon who has at least a decade or two of experience with revision liposuction. Machines like Vaser, are not the answer, and they neither remove fat 'better', nor tighten skin more than liposuction alone. It is technique based, and therefore in the hands of the surgeon (literally) to deliver a quality result. 

Pending a formal evaluation, you may be a good candidate for a Revision Liposuction. You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. 
The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heats the skin with radiofrequency devices such as Renuvion (J-Plasma), InMode BodyTite, and ThermiRF to heat the undersurface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HI-DEF VASER Liposuction and can only be done by a well-trained body contouring specialist. At the same time, fat should be harvested and purified, with PRP and stem cells added, and then injected into muscles, indentations and cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. For a Brazilian butt lift (BBL), we inject the fat into the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face.  Cellulite should also be treated with a combination of Cellfina, subcision, and/or fillers such as Bellafill, Renuva synthetic fat, or Sculptra. If skin is very loose before surgery, then it will need to be removed: tummy tuck/abdominoplasty for lower abdominal skin; breast lift for excess breast skin; and/or a brachioplasty for loose arm skin. Overall, you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting. your results are a direct reflection of how the procedure was performed. In your case not very well.  The correct treatment is not to go in with a BAS ER only. That will only create more scar tissue which will make your situation worse.  Your provider lax skills in liposuction procedures and you should consider his or her advice accordingly.  As frustrating as this may be your best option is to start over with a fresh consultation with the provider who has greater experience and inherent skill with this procedure. It may or may not be possible to restore you to a normal body shape and contour or get the results you were hoping for. This becomes more challenging if you were significantly over treated.  I'm afraid your doctors recommendation will not get you anything close to what you want.  This is just my opinion. I'm going by very limited information based on your post only.  Take it for what it is but that's what it looks like to me.  I'm a board-certified plastic surgeon with  25 years of experience. My practice is devoted exclusively to liposuction and fat transfer procedures. I performed over 7000 liposuction procedures in my career.  Not that that makes me the best provider but I certainly have more experience than the great majority of plastic surgeons.
