4 months post-op I ended up with the “donut." Can this be corrected with laser? (photos)

I had lipo 4 months ago. I ended up with the donut around my belly button. Last week, the surgeon did a touch up with Vaser lipo but I still have the lump which he now says is scar tissue. He is now recommending laser. I’m skeptical and concerned about whether this will actually work. Thoughts?

Thank you so much for share with us your concern and photos. 
Thank can be correct with Vaser or another Liposculpture, it looks like the Liposculpture was not done properly 4 months ago, you can still have inflammation but that is not a good result 4 months after Lipo. I personally recommend you to get an evaluation and he/ she can determine what is the best option for you to get your goals.

Assuming there is no fluid collection present and this area represents fat, liposuction revision may be very appropriate.
