I had lipo 4 months ago. I ended up with the donut around my belly button. Last week, the surgeon did a touch up with Vaser lipo but I still have the lump which he now says is scar tissue. He is now recommending laser. I’m skeptical and concerned about whether this will actually work. Thoughts?

Liposuction results are so wrong and inconsistent at three weeks that I tell patients to simply not even bother looking in the mirror. It just gets people upset. There is no normal. Results vary tremendously on each individual, how the procedure was performed but for sure three week results do...
You should confirm that this is acne and not another skin condition. Consider posting photos or better yet follow up with the Doctor Who did your procedure. Acne breakouts are not typical after liposuction but can happen for a variety of reasons. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
