Hi, all my stomach is showing bumps und irregularities (almost 6 months after lipo), also flanks look different one is harder than the other, hence differently shaped. (approx. 3litres where taken out of abdomen, flanks, back) I wonder if I can still trust my surgeon? Does this happen often? At this moment I really regret having the procedure done I look way worse than before.
Answer: Vaser Lipo. The Vaser lipo. system in my opinion is the best body shaping tool in the world. It effectively breaks up fat in a gentle fashion which can if need be, be re transplanted. After Vaser it is important to go for several sessions of lymphatic massage to get rid of the old fluid, blood and fat that can remain. Also all lipo. procedures can form seromas. These are not harmful and if need be the doctor can remove them. Of course nothing and no one is perfect, but Vaser usually gives a great result. Experience counts especially when doing hi definition work. Seek out an experienced physician. Hope this helps. JB

Answer: Lumps After Vaser Liposuction You did state that he took 3 liters of fat, so it's no question that fat was removed, but if you are noticing contour irregularities 6 months after Vaser surgery, it is a possibility that your plastic surgeon needs to revise the areas for you. I would follow up with your plastic surgeon and openly voice your concerns. Allow him the opportunity to address them for you and so that he may formulate a plan that achieves the results you want.

Answer: Unhappy with Liposuction Results If you are unhappy with your outcome, then it sounds like you'll need a revision procedure. But it sounds like you have numerous concerns about how this procedure went, and a revision is even trickier to perform than the initial surgery. The definitive correction for liposuction deformities requires the advanced technology of ultrasound assisted VASER liposuction. As an official trainer of VASER liposuction, I encounter suboptimal liposuction outcome referrals weekly. VASER liposuction has been the only modality that has consistently corrected liposuction caused deformities. VASER liposuction ensures a smooth contour regardless of severity of contour irregularities by virtue of being able to remove any and all remaining fat comprehensively and uniformly. Finally, when skin redundancy irregularities are observed, Renuvion technology can be simultaneously applied to tighten your skin to optimize your overall contour outcome. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a VASER specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee

Answer: Is this normal Thank you for your question. It is difficult to tell without pictures, but I always recommend asking how many procedures your surgeon has performed. If you are not comfortable with their results or training, then I would recommend a second opinion.

Answer: Please see earlier response I responded to your previous post. In my opinion your provider lacks the skills necessary to deliver good results. Whether you can trust him to do a revision or not is up to you. Personally I would not. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
