Can I have Tyndall effect more than 2 years after Restylane injection under eyes?

The record for patients I have fixed was a person with Tyndall that persisted for 8 years.  Boom-enzyme took it right out.  Don't live with a bad service,  Get this junk removed.  It is so easy to adjust these services with hyaluronidase, there is just no reason to live with a bad result.  The power of the hyaluronic acid fillers is that they can be adjusted after the fact.  Get this removed.

Hi and thanks for your question. Your issue is most likely caused by a Tyndall effect in the tear trough area. This is simple to fix. Fillers in that area can last for several years, so I would not be surprised if you had residual filler after 2 years. Your next step should be to consult with someone very experienced in treating the tear trough area with filler and have them reverse the filler with enzyme. I have performed this kind of correction many times with excellent success. Hope that helps.

The best way to answer this is with an in-person evaluation. If this is filler, it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, but it can take a series of treatments to resolve filler. Hope this helps.

This is difficult to answer without before and after pictures. It is unlikely this is due to Restylane, however I recommend following up with your injector or a cosmetic dermatologist. If filler is still present, it can be reversed with hyaluronidase. Hope this helps. Best, Dr. Emer

The greyish-blue discoloration you can see under the eyes after hyaluronic acid fillers such as restylane is called the Tyndall Effect. As noted with your left eye this can be resolved quickly by injecting hyaluronidase to dissolve the hyaluronic acid (HA). These HA fillers can last for many years under your eyes. I would recommend you reconsult with the treating physician to see if more hyaluronidase could help dissolve the remaining HA under your right eye.
