One side of mouth looks bigger then the other after HA lip filler. I'm only just over 24hrs but freaking out. I can feel a lump in my top lip also. Very bruised. Is this normal
Answer: Swelling post lip injections Hello and thank you for your question. From the pictures, it looks like normal post injection swelling. Swelling is a common minor adverse event that can occur after the injection of dermal fillers (or anytime a needle is placed into the skin) and it can be asymmetrical. Fortunately, this is temporary and there are ways to help minimize the effects. It is still early after injection, so a few days of icing and intermittent massage may solve the problem. It can take up to 2 weeks for the adverse events to resolve and for your fillers to be settled into your lip tissue. If you’re unhappy with your results or the lumps do not resolve, the filler can be reversed with hyaluronidase. I hope that this information helps! Please let me know if you have any further questions!

Answer: Very swollen 1 day after lip augmentation with fillers (Restylane) Thank you for sharing your question and posting your photograph. It is not unusual to have asymmetric swelling following injection of fillers in the lips. Things will calm down in a few days. Cold compresses and Arnica might help. Good luck,

Answer: Swelling after Lip Fillers--wait 2 weeks Swelling can be typical, which can be asymmetrical. Icing and cold compresses may give improvement. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase. I hope this helps!

Answer: Swelling after Lip augmentation with Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Volbella) It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. You may have swelling, which can be asymmetrical, and last 1-2 weeks after lip injections. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
