Is tingling burning sensation normal one month after tummy tuck and lipo to sides and back?

Congratulations on your recent surgery!  The burning tingling sensations you are feeling are normal after surgery.  The reason this occurs is due to the nerve endings regrowing after surgery.  It is not uncommon for this sensation to come and go, just know it will get better as you heal.  Best of luck!

Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear about your burning sensation after tummy tuck surgery.  Differing sensations in your abdomen after a tummy tuck are not uncommon. As a result of the swelling and skin stretch with surgery, the nerve endings can become irritated. This can cause episodes of different sensations, that can be described as burning or a "sparky", or like an electric current. It may take several weeks to months, but these sensations typically resolve. Voice your concerns with your surgeon, so that they can examine you and can provide reassurance.

It is normal to have some tingling one month after liposuction and abdominoplasty. The liposuction temporarily causes injury to nerves and of course the abdominoplasty cuts some nerves which then slowly heal after surgery.  Most importantly though , if your concerned please follow up with your surgeon.
