Suture granuloma after facelift?

Hi! I had dpfl 6months ago and developed hematoma(evacuated). At 5months I still had tethered firm areas infront of ear from cheek to jaw.Doc saw this contracture so he injected 5 fu. Now 1 months later I have alot relief.But there's 1 spot behind jaw angle under ear.This spot isn't as tender as before injection but didn't get as much improvement(lump contour wise)as the rest.I know there's a nylon suture around there. Can this be a suture issue or this area has more scar tissue? How to fix it?

Deep plane facelift after permanent cheek fillers. This should not be a problem for a very experienced facelift surgeon. See several in consultation and look for natural results.

Thank you for shearing or questions and concerns. Subtle asymmetries and muscle movements are very common after surgery. In most cases, the asymmetry and movement is due to swelling and not true nerve injury fortunately, most nerve injuries are temporary and not permanent. I would be curious...

I'm not sure specifically what you're referring to but significant contour issues should be gone within a few weeks after a facelift let alone seven months. Discuss this with your surgeon.

This would be ideally treated with a revisionary face/necklift. At this time, the ears can also be revised. You need to find a surgeon with ideally with at least of 6 years integrated plastic surgery training followed by an accredited aesthetic surgery fellowship. I highly recommend finding one...

Hi Thanks for the question In my opinion a deep plane facelift is a good option for patients considering facelift at a younger age . Facelifts deal with structural laxity in the face. In a SMAS plication the surgeon dissects between the skin/fat layer and an elastic layer called the SMAS....

A good surgeon will recommend the anesthetic that he or she prefers. Some recommend IV sedation or twilight to keep their costs down (it costs more to have an anesthesia professional present). I usually have an anesthesia doctor/nurse doing that part so I can focus exclusively on the surgery.
