(Caucasion) Blepharoplasty removes excess skin, but is there a surgery that also changes the location of the crease (to make it higher up). Using tweezers to push back my skin a lot makes the crease go high and I really like this effect. But pinching the excess skin with tweezers (blepharoplasty)vdoes not do enough for me. Any help on what procedure/s are involved?

Answer: Can I have surgery to create a higher eyelid crease? There are procedures to raise the level of the eyelid crease in the appropriate patient. The exact procedure depends on individual anatomy and desired result. Whether you are a candidate can only be determined at a consultation.Following the advice of anyone who would presume to tell you what to do without seeing photos and without taking a full medical history, examining you, feeling and assessing your tissue tone, discussing your desired outcome and fully informing you about the pros and cons of each option would not be in your best interest. Find a plastic surgeon that you are comfortable with and one that you trust and listen to his or her advice. The surgeon should be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person. Robert Singer, MD FACS La Jolla, California

Answer: Crease postion without photographs, it is difficult to assess your situation. The crease position can be changed. Be sure to have your eyelids evaluated by a board certified surgeon who specializes in eyelid surgery.
