Do I need some sort of compression for blood collection in the pubic area after abdominal/chest smart lipo? (Photo)

It has been almost 7 days since I had 2 liters of fat removed from my abdominal region by way of SmartLipo. Since, the blood has moved into the pubic area and collected, swelling the area. Do I need something to compress the area for the blood to go away at all or is it fine? It's not painful but a little discomforting when I sit because of the pressure in the area.
