SMP and coloring my hair?

If I have SMP can I still dye my hair? Will the hair dye impact the integrity of of the scalp pigmentation? I would like to consider SMP to help with my thinning hair, and I plan on wearing it about an 1/2 in long, so I would not shave my head. However I would like to keep my gray hair in check with hair coloring. Is this a problem?

Scalp MicroPigmentation SMP risk is similar to the risk of having a tattoo.  The ingredients are variable depending on the clinic.

If you want to know why your SMP turned blue, the first person to ask would be the clinic.  Otherwise it would be almost impossible to tell since your clinic is the only source of treatment.

Shaving your head should not make your SMP fade or fade any faster.  SMP is like a tattoo.  It is under your skin.

Scalp Micropigmentation SMP can darken the bare scalp but if you lose more hair or shave your head it may not look even.

You can use clippers the next day after SMP. However it is always a good idea to check with your doctor.

If you over do anything it can look bad.    Some may like the helmut look but if this is a big concern for you always discuss this with your doctor.  A touch up procedure in the right hands should not give you helmut look.
