What skin tightening treatments are recommended after Vaser Hi Def?

Question

I’m about a week post Vaser Hi Def surgery and was wondering what particular RF or Ultrasound therapies would be recommended to ensure proper skin retraction and avoid skin laxity. Work was done on chest, inner thigh, flanks, and arms and I think the arms were the main hi def area. My surgeon recommended Lympathic Drainage Massages which I will start next week and said further therapies aren’t needed, but I want to be safe and get some skin retraction sessions in just to ensure my result is good.

You will have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.
