I have a very wide, lopsided face with crooked teeth. I also have something of an underbite with a receded maxilla in the front. I want to get nasal augmentation and correct a deviated septum but worry if I get jaw surgery to reduce or straighten my jaw, there will be serious consequences for my nose and breathing. Do I have to choose between rhinoplasty or jaw surgery? Does the answer different if I only get a jawbone reduction, without osteotomies to move my jaw?

Based on the photographs it appears the nose is proportionate for the face. I am not sure if reducing the size of the nose will suit the face.RegardsDr. J
It really is a bit too early to tell whether this is going to be a problem for you in the long term. I would suggest you wait for at least three months before judging this and your surgeon should then be able to tell you what has caused the bumps and what solutions are appropriate.
In my professional and personal experience of having a septoplasty and turbinate reduction, it may take several months to a few years to adjust to increased airflow depending on how dry the climate is where you live. Out fracture by itself is usually not as dramatic of a change....
