which would be a better fit for me? had several consultations&have been rec’d each equally. One said Vollure will give a more perfectly smooth effect&get closer to lower lashes, another said Vollure is prone to migration&could create a bag-like effect which would add a problem as i am addressing hollowness so Lift is better. I would like for my troughs to be fully filled&undereye folds/wrinkles to be gone, but i want it to move with me&look great Thank you:)
Answer: Neither of these products are right for your under eye area! Restylane Lyft is nothing like Juvederm Vollure. If you are confused by the hyaluronic acid filler products, that is the intention of the filler manufacturers. Allergan, in my opinion, is engaged in what is called channel stuffing. This is a marketing practice of sell an array of very similar products into the market to maximize products. Honestly they have to make up money on expensive dogs like Kybella. Again, yes, that is my opinion. Restylane is a high G prime, low tan delta filler. It is actually too difficult to manage for thin coverage areas like the tear trough-so I don't recommend it in this location. Voluma is the highest G prime filler of the Allergan Juvederm product line. Vollure is suppose to be intermediate between Voluma and the runny Juvederms. However, Voluma is still runny compared to Restylane. So no Lyft is not right for this location because it is prone to lumps. However, the Allergan products are not right because they are runny and do not hold in location. Restylane continues to be the ideal under eye filler product but it is a fussy service. Done correctly, you will love the treatment. Don't talk yourself into the wrong product.

Answer: Eyelids You have puffiness of your lower lids. The best treatment is to remove the excess fat from your lids. Fillers will not be of any benefit.

Answer: Treating Tear Troughs? Fillers or surgery Tear troughs can be permanently corrected with surgery or temporarily camouflaged with fillers (Restylane, Belotero, Volbella). There are great non-surgical options to fill in under eye depressions and hollowness. Using dermal fillers, a liquid eye-lift can be performed. A dermal filler such as Restylane would be placed in the cheek and tear trough to hide the depression or bag underneath your eye. Surgery would require a fat-repositioning lower lid blepharoplasty. In this surgical procedure, fat from the eye area is moved into the tear trough depression filling the actual depression. I hope this helps!

Answer: Dark Circles/Eye Bags/Wrinkles -- Fillers Belotero, Juvederm Volbella; Laser Like Fraxel/Co2/J Plasma; Microneedling/PRP; Peels Restylane refyne, belotero, restylane silk, or juvederm volbella do best under the eyes. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat will be the best long term. However, non invasive less downtime options such as fillers, lasers, microneedling/PRP, cosmelan peels and stem cells can all help give some improvement. I suggest. You get a formal consultation to see what is best for you and your goals. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Filler vs surgery for tear trough area The type of filler is only one factor in getting best results. The amount of filler and technique are also important. It is good to be conservative with filler injection under eyes. Another more permanent option is transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty with repositioning of the eye fat bags to the hollow area. Consultation will determine what's best for you.
