Im interested in PDO nose thread lift. How safe and reliable the material is for the nose? Is there any provider in Los Angeles area?
Answer: Thread lift for nose "Thread lift" for nose is not an actual lift but more like a filler using PDO The advantage of using threads as fillers as compared to HA (such as juvederm) is that it is solid and does not move, whereas liquid fillers spread and move and lose their form and structure easily. Having said that, thread filler is excellent for sculpturing the nose for minor defects, for augmentation of the dorsum , and for refining the tip of the nose. There is hardly any downtime, perhaps a couple of days if there are bruises. Generally it lasts for a couple of years but residual benefits can be seen for a longer time. Of-course, surgical rhinoplasty is still best for more major corrections, but "thread lifts" is good for many patients.

Answer: Tread lift in general There is no data in plastic surgery literature that support good, long term results after any tread lift, including the nose! It would be very hard to find a nose deformity that could be corrected with a simple lift, in particular with a tread. In person consultation with a board certified plastic or ENT surgeon with good reputation in nose surgery will give you opportunity to discuss your goals and options. Good luck.

Answer: Fantasy rather than fact Well, you may get a temporary lift with a nose thread. But, it is not likely to last nor is it likely to be a truly satisfying result. Everybody dreams of a magic treatment to eliminate the need for surgery. However, a nose lift alone can be achieved inexpensively, quickly, and in-office with permanent improvement. You need surgery rather than a thread.

Answer: Nose thread lift The PDO threads can e used to stimulate collagen . A strategically placed thread on the dorsum of the nose can give a better defined and sharp contour. Depending on the deformity though , this might or might not be a good option to what you are trying to achieve.
