Last time I had them injected I asked for height to my upper lip: I want more pink to show on my top lip, I said “please don’t inject anywhere that could potentially make my upper lip project.” I feel like she over injected my Cupid’s bow, ie duck looking? Do you agree? Where should she have injected instead? Please excuse my peeling face thanks to retinoids ;) on a side note: debating getting filler in cheeks, chin or Kybella instead? The glamour lips are what I was going for, as pictured.

As long as you do not have any active infection of the skin, it is safe to get filler after a facial waxing. I still sterilize my patient's face prior to the procedure even after waxing to minimize any risk of infection. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your question. Juvederm ultra tends to last around 6 months in the lips. If this is bothering you it can be corrected with an enzyme called hyalase. This will dissolve these little lumps you have.
