How much does a tip plasty cost?

A tip rhinoplasty in our hands varies from about 2500 to 3500 dollars if no additional work is needed to the rest of your nose. I agree in that detailed tip work is often best accomplished via an open approach but surgeon's preferences can vary.

Hello and thank you for your question.  The price of a tip rhinoplasty varies based on region and your plastic surgeon's expertise.  The next step for you is to find the right aesthetic plastic surgeon.  In your rhinoplasty consultation, be sure your surgeon addresses all your aesthetic goals and concerns specifically, and discusses the surgery details including the position and size of the incisions used (with actual photographs and not just digital animations), the risks and benefits of the procedure, recovery time, and post-operative course.  Also, be sure to see plenty of before-and-after pictures in women who have a similar nose appearance to yours, and preferably at different time frames (3 weeks out, 3 months out, etc) to more accurately predict your own surgical outcome.

After seeking out a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in aesthetic plastic surgery, I think the most important component of the consultation is to establish a good connection with your plastic surgeon.  It’s the connection that allows you to clearly define your desired nose outcome goals, the first step of this whole process. If you don’t feel you have a good connection with your plastic surgeon after your consultation, he/she may not be the best surgeon for you.

It is impossible to give you good advice without in person evaluation or series of good photos. In same cases, full rhinoplasty may be a better solution than tip only in order to achieve good balance between major nose components like dorsum (supratip area in particular), nose width and nasal base. Second opinion consultation with board certified plastic or ENT surgeon with excellent reputation in rhinoplasty is recommended. Good luck.

Without posted photos,and of course the benefit of physical exam- it's impossible to give the best answer. Generally speaking, I am an advocate of closed technique- there is no reason to have Rhinoplasty through open approach - especially in Primary Rhinoplasty due to many reasons, including prolonged swelling and a very visible scar across columella. Also, when treating one aspect of the nose-in most all cases - all the other elements must be addressed in order to achieve the best result. Rhinoplasty is one of the most challenging procedures we perform that's why choosing the right Surgeon is the key.

 Most patients must undergo full rhinoplasty to ensure that all the components of the nose are balanced with each other, and the entire new nose is balanced with patient's facial features. A full set of facial photographs are going  required to make a determination about how best to proceed 

A formal consultation or pictures would be necessary for evaluation but most commonly patient’s desire improvement in the appearance of the tip and the bridge of the nose. While the concern maybe only the tip, we want all the elements of the nose to be in harmony with the rest of the face. As far as cost, in the Florida area this can vary based on surgeon, facility, and the expertise. 
Seek consultation from a surgeon that performs rhinoplasty regularly in his or her practice.
