I wonder how I can make my face seem more symmetrical. The lips I can fix, but what are the options to increase cheek symmetry? As you see, only one cheek has a dimple, and they enlarge at different height when I smile. I'd rather do Botox and fillers before I do a surgery, but I'd like to know all the options. Please help.

Answer: Improving facial symmetry with fillers (voluma, radiesse, bellafill), sculptra, implants, fat Facial symmetry and volume of the cheeks can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. Implants or fat are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Cheek asymmetry Dear millaxoxo, unfortunately there is no photo of your cheeks. Generally speaking, cheek asymmetry can be resolved using fillers but that is temporary solution. Cheek implants might also be helpful but without an examination it is really hard to tell. I would recommend you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery
