Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

When my patients experience hollowness from weight loss or aging I recommend treating with dermal fillers or performing a fat transfer. Fat Transfer is somewhat longer-lasting than dermal fillers are, but the recovery time from the initial procedure is more significant, with bruising and swelling that typically lasts about a week. Dermal fillers have almost no downtime, with redness and swelling that often lasts a day or two, but is very minimal.
Judging from your photos, it appears you have global (or all-over) volume loss. This is normal for patients whose weight has fluctuated.
