For almost all my liposuctions which are done under tumescent local with the smaller micro cannulas, the time is 4-5 hrs from the time they walk in until the lime they walk out. I stand them up several times during the procedure to access the results and fine tune the results right then and there.
there is no right or wrong answer to this. It all depends on the size of the person, if full circumferential contouring is being performed, how many devices are being used if the procedure is high definition or not, if there is fat harvesting etc. there are so many factors. I personalize all my liposuction procedures quotes and often this woul take me 2.5-3.5 hours. Longer for hi definition procedures and for a tumescent approach (which is much safer but takes long to allow the fluid to numb the aream). Find someone with expertise. Best, Dr. Emer.

It is too early to evaluate your results. Massage will probably help. See your surgeon regularly.
Thank you for submitting your question. An examination is vital to evaluate if your a good candidate for liposuction. You may be a good candidate to lower your scar. Discuss your options with your Plastic Surgeon. Best Wishes.
Liposuction creates a surgical injury that is fixed by the body. The best thing is to stay out of the way and let time in the natural processes heal the area.
