I’m a 21 year old patient who is planning on getting fat transferred to my breasts. I know the standard for mammograms is 40+ as breasts are usually denser and harder to find abnormalities when you are younger. I also know that there is a possibility of getting calcifications in my breasts from the transfer which is a concern knowing it could interfere with future mammograms. I would like a professionals opinion if it is worth trying to get one done before my procedure and anytime after.
