Unfortunately, it is still far too early to judge the results, as the swelling may persist for weeks to months.  Relay your concerns to your surgeon as he or she will be able to reassure you and tailor a plan to fit your needs.  Good luck!

You are still too early after surgery. Try and relax, give it more time.  You might try humidified air to help clear your nose of dried blood.  Maintain communication with your surgeon about your concerns.  All the Best.

At 3 weeks postop, you still have swelling throughout the nose that will continue to come down in the coming weeks to months. Depending on what was done during your surgery, this may be due to swelling in that region of your nose. It is extremely important that you are following up with your rhinoplasty surgeon so they can monitor your nose for any changes and address any issues that arise. 

Hey there. I see what you're talking about. Without examining you it's tough to say what's going on with your nose. Three weeks out is a pretty short amount of time; you certainly have some degree of swelling that will need to settle still. For the crusting, use plenty of saline spray in your nose. You should be able to get this for a couple of dollars from a local pharmacy or supermarket. Please make sure you share your concerns with your surgeon. Good luck!

Contour irregularity following rhinoplasty may result from surgical maneuvers taken. It seems that your bulge may correlate with an alar batten graft that may have been put into the lateral middle vault. You really need to ask your rhinoplasty surgeon for details of the operation.

You are so freshly in the post-operative period, it is impossible to say what the lump is.  When you have a rhinoplasty, there will be swelling.  The swelling will change from day to day.  The best advice we can give you, is to continue to visit your doctor and follow all directions for the best result possible.
