I had a rhinoplasty revision involving grafting. My tip is still hard. But it feels solid. I really want a lip lift ASAP. I am a bit confused by the different responses from doctors.. Some say 6 weeks after rhino is okay, some say 6 months, some say a year! I don't know what to think..
Answer: When to lift lip after rhinoplasty? I believe that the timing depends on ensuring that your nose is in the proper position and the length specifically is as you would like it. The length of the nose and the upper lip are intimately related and it would be unwise to modify the lip until the nasal length is established. Usually the length of the nose is not going to change much after 3 months following the surgery but if you are unsure that you like it and might wish to modify that aspect of your nose I would wait until it's been addressed. A lip lift can be a very powerful procedure and analysis is vital before moving forward. If you are certain about the nose then 3 months should suffice.
