I know the technically "correct" answer is that it takes off X number of years and that we continue to age afterward, but is this actually true? For Ultherapy, I basically returned back to baseline after one year even though I did look quite a few years younger right afterward. I was wondering if the results from Profound last longer, and how often we should repeat the procedure? Thank you!
Answer: How long do the results from Profound RF last? Profound RF is a highly researched technology, hence its predictability and efficacy. Studies indicate that a five year clinical effect should be anticipated. I've had Profound since its introduction in 2015 and have not had to revise any patients except for purely elective reasons because I.thought they were suboptimally treated(I have gotten much more aggressive with the procedure over time).Profound has 100% response rate; 98% satisfaction and delivers................like nothing else.

Answer: Results The results are permanent in that your body has new collagen, hyaluronic acid and elastin. However, keep in mind that there is no fountain of youth. We are constantly aging, so although this procedure may set you back 5 years, it does not change the fact that you have spent xx of years being exposed to sun/ other aging factors, and will continue to see the effects of getting older. This is why regular maintenance is necessary, and many will consider getting this procedure or others likely it on a yearly or every 2 year basis.
