Profound RF for loose stomach skin? (Photo)

I too was skeptical when I started using Profound for loose skin and small fat rolls on the abdomen. I have many other devices that can treat this condition, but Profound RF is by far my favorite. I use the SQ (subcutaneous) hand-piece exclusively because it is the most effective. The subcutaneous handpiece inserts needles below the skin to reduce the amount of subcutaneous fat and tighten the overlying skin, purportedly by acting on the connective tissue network that supports skin and its underlying fat. You appear to be the ideal candidate.  You can combine the dermal and subcutaneous hand-pieces in one treatment but I have not found this to be necessary in most patients (unless the skin is extremely inelastic). We have been using Profound SubQ for more than a year and the results have not diminished over that time. Best wishes.

Hi Efsefs,Yes, Profound RF is a safe and effective non-surgical treatment to improve loose abdomenal skin.  The subdermal micro-needles emit radiofrequency energy deep below the skin to create tightening of the tissue as well as decreasing fat cells.  As with any aesthetic procedure, you must choose your treating cosmetic physician carefully based on their experience, skill, knowledge, and most importantly their natural artistic vision.  Good luck and be well!!!

Profound RF for the abdomen is one of its more consistent body applications. There are two issue to consider, quantity---how much excess is there, and quality---are the tissues aged, damaged, etc. Profound works very well for the later indication on the abdomen.  Ultherapy does something entirely different and can therefore work in tandem with Profound RF. My experience with Ultherapy on the body dates back to 2011. I like the combo very much and use it often. Hope this helps
