How long after a facelift can you get hair transplant to frontal hairline (not into facelift scars)?

I would encourage you to wait a few weeks after your facelift simply so the swelling and edema resolve. Depending on the extent of your frontal hairline that you are desiring to have transplanted, these region will likely not (or very minimally) have undermining of the skin during your facelift procedure. In reality, you could likely safely proceed with the hair transplant after a few weeks following your facelift.

I recommend 6 weeks of healing first though this is not based on any scientific article its just a reasonable amount of time to wait for that procedure.

Without pictures, it is hard to understand the need for hair transplants. The forehead hairline can be improved at the time of your facelift without the need for hair transplants. You should discuss this with your surgeon.

Part of doing a face and neck lift is removing a triangular patch of hair bearing skin behind the ears. I have begun using this hair as well as beard hair removed at the time of the facelift for hair grafting. We harvested the hair at the time of facial surgery. This really depends on how swollen you are after your facelift. You can transplant the hairs into skin as long as the skin is not affected by the inflammation of the facelift. If it is, I would recommend waiting at least 3 to 6 months to allow everything to be done healing prior to transplant.

Probably best to separate both procedures about a month apart, but it would not really matter which procedure goes first.
