I've had this mole since about 10 years old. Started flat and very small over the last 16 years it has raised up and grown in size. I'm now 26 years old and I think its gotten way to big and am looking to get it removed. I'm scared of what the scar may look like. It's in the center of my face what can I expect?

Answer: Sometimes the scar can't help but to be better looking than the ugly mole.
I would recommend that you call the office to obtain a status report on your biopsy and the next phase of treatment of your mole. Raffy Karamanoukian MD FACSLos Angeles
Most nose bumps are fibromas which are cousins to moles. The can be shaved flat under local and heal beautifully. Cost is roughly $250. If there is a little color left then it can be frozen with liquid nitrogen to lighten it up . Sincerely, David Hansen,MD
