Nerve damage after mole removal?

Had mole biopsied on my back. 1 week later developed horrible pain like Shingles. Not shingles though. what is it??

Any rare reaction should be managed with an examination to determine the causes and treatment. Most mole removals are uneventful.

A mole removal is usually a very shallow procedure. While a nerve could be affected afterwards, this would be very, very, very rare. If you are having pain there, I would suggest you follow up with your provider. The two could be totally unrelated.
