Nerve damage after mole removal?

Had mole biopsied on my back. 1 week later developed horrible pain like Shingles. Not shingles though. what is it??

A mole removal is usually a very shallow procedure. While a nerve could be affected afterwards, this would be very, very, very rare. If you are having pain there, I would suggest you follow up with your provider. The two could be totally unrelated. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot
