Bump on Tip of my Nose? (photo)

Question

Hi! I've had this bump on the tip of my nose since I was a teen. At first I thought it was a pimple but it never went away. I can usually cover it with make up but I hate how it looks in photos and it's all I see when I look at my face. Oh, I'm 31 now. I'm concerned with cost of removal and scarring.

Most nose bumps are fibromas which are cousins to moles. The can be shaved flat under local and heal beautifully. Cost is roughly $250. If there is a little color left then it can be frozen with liquid nitrogen to lighten it up . Sincerely, David Hansen,MD

called a fibrous papule...easy to shave off...of simply burn off...almost always comes back...usually a scar with cutting and sewing...kind of one of those choices to make that depends on how much you don't like the small innocent spot vs. the possibility of a small scar...
