I've been struggling with my broken capillaries around my nose and on chin for a long time. I've been reading about different lasers and I have no clue which is the most effective for my problem. I've found a few places in my area with: Nd:Yag Clarity, Alma Harmony XL PRO and QuadroStar Pro Yellow. Can someone please tell me which one will have the best results on me? Thank you for all your answers, it is a big help!
Answer: Best Treatments for Facial Veins Thanks for your great question. Facial veins are a common complaint I see in my practice, and I offer a variety of treatment options that allow me to tailor procedures to each patient for best results. In many cases, the first course of action in intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy, which coagulates the vein, so it collapses without penetrating the dermal surface. Laser treatments provide the same effect, and with more than 45 in my office to choose from, my patients can rest assured their treatment is customized just for their concern and situation. I encourage you to book an appointment with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist with extensive experience in a variety of laser devices. Through an in-person consultation, you and your specialist should be able to create a treatment plan that will provide you an optimal outcome.

Answer: Treatment for Facial Veins Broken capillaries on the face are a common cosmetic concern that can be caused by sun damage or skin conditions like acne or rosacea. We often treat these visible vessels using intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy or specific pulsed dye laser (PDL). The multiple wavelengths of light penetrate the outer dermis without damaging the skin. The light targets the blood inside the vessels, causing it to coagulate, so the vein collapses and is reabsorbed by the body. I recommend you look for a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience in IPL/PDL treatments to ensure the best possible results.

Answer: Excel V Laser Vein Removal Therapy Hello and thank you for your question! I would recommend the Excel V™ laser vein removal therapy. Due to the range of wavelengths used in this laser, it can treat practically anything from tiny veins on the face to larger veins such as those found on the legs. The light energy used will coagulate the blood in the vessels of concern, which will shrink their appearance. The body will then reabsorb this, and the blood will be redirected to veins deeper below the skin’s surface. The treated veins will be less noticeable on the skin’s surface. Results can be seen within two to six weeks after the first treatment, but this will vary depending on the size and area of the veins to be treated. You should consult a medical provider to determine if you will be a good fit for the Excel V™ laser vein removal therapy and to create a treatment plan for your specific case. Hope this helps!

Answer: Broken Capillaries/Redness - Vascular Lasers (Yellow, Excel V, VBeam, Aerolase, Venus Versa IPL) + Clear+Brilliant, Venus Viva, The best treatments for capillary issues are vascular lasers such as pulsed dye laser, Excel V, Aerolase, Venus Versa IPL, Laser Genesis or Yellow laser. The settings are determined on a per case basis, so it's best to consult with an expert to determine what will work best for you. We often combine vascular lasers with non-ablative fractional lasers such as Clear + Brilliant or Venus Viva for better results. I would suggest seeing a cosmetic dermatologist and expert in laser treatments for a formal evaluation; our practice is located right here in Los Angeles. Best, Dr. Emer.
