Hi there! I’m Lauren, the aesthetic injector here at Colorado Plastic Surgery Center. While Kybella treatments are typically spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, waiting up to 2 months between sessions is still effective.
Thank you for your question! It is ideal to wait 6-8 weeks between Kybella treatments, as you want any inflammation to have subsided. Waiting 2 months (8 weeks) would have no negative impact on your results!
Thank you for your question. The two month time frame between treatments would actually provide effective results. Hope this helps. All the best.
Six to eight weeks is usually recommended in order to give the treatment area time to heal before the next procedure. Two months should be a good time between treatments and should not negatively impact the results in any way. Make sure the doctor you work with is board certified and has extensive experience administering Kybella to ensure you achieve the best possible results from your treatment sessions.
I see my Kybella patients back 6 weeks after injection. If there is still residual fat under the chin, then I will offer another injection at that time. It certainly does not matter if you wait longer than 6 weeks. Waiting 2 months or longer between rounds of Kybella is perfectly fine.
Dear iamthatgirl,Kybella typically takes 3 to 5 treatments to work. This is why I've stopped carrying Kybella in my office. I recommend neck liposuction more often then any injectable procedure for the neck now. It provides superior results gives me more control over the area than any injectable. It also costs about the same as what you paid for your first kybella session. The liposuction can be done under local while awake in the office and recovery is about the same as kybella.Daniel Barrett, MD
Kybella (deoxycholic acid) is an injectable treatment that is used to reduce submental (under the chin) fat and improve the appearance of a double chin. Typically, Kybella treatments are administered in a series of sessions, usually spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. The exact timing between treatments can vary based on individual factors and the recommendations of the medical professional performing the procedure. If you're considering waiting for 2 months between your first and second Kybella procedure, it's important to consult with a qualified medical professional who can provide personalized advice based on your specific situation. They can assess your progress after the first treatment, consider factors such as your skin's response, the amount of fat being treated, and your desired outcome to determine whether waiting 2 months is appropriate for you.Keep in mind that individual responses to treatments can vary, and medical professionals often tailor the treatment plan to the patient's needs. It's always best to follow the guidance of your healthcare provider to ensure that you achieve the best results from your cosmetic procedures.
While this generally depends on person to person and on the amount of excess fat required to be removed, on average, 1-4 vials of Kybella are administered per session with a 3-4 weeks gap between each treatment. During clinical trials, it was observed that patients who received a maximum of six doses, each with a 1-month gap in between, achieved desirable results.
Hi-I recommend 6 weeks between treatment intervals. Waiting 8 weeks should be sufficient. You may need 3 or 4 treatments total to achieve your desired results.
I recommend waiting at least 6 weeks from your previous treatment before attempting another procedure. 2 months or 8 weeks is fine as well. Hope this helps!Johnson C. Lee, MD Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon@drjohnsonleeRhinoplasty
