Thank you for posting your question.  What needs to be determined is why the open bite is happening.  Do you thrust your tongue between your front top and bottom teeth?  If so, the habit will need to be broken prior to closing it.  If that is not the case then there may be an issue in the jaw joint or TMJ.  That will need to be checked out prior to closing the bite.  Invisalign can be used to close an open bite. Typically it can take 1 to 2 years depending how the bite is closed.
