Dr. Hildago is super caring and does a great job. I had a chipped front tooth and he did an awesome job matching it to the rest of my teeth. He kept at it until it was perfect! He worked with Perfect Imagine to make sure the color was just right. I would highly recommend Dr Hidalgo! His office staff is so nice and easy to work with. I have been going to him for years and his number one priority is making sure that I am happy.
Dr. Hidalgo has been my family's dentist for years and is the best dentist I've ever gone to. Staff is very friendly and convenient location. I replaced a front bridge with a dental implant and crowns and the procedure went great. I smile so much more now and don't have the black areas around my front teeth when I had the bridge. Dr. Hidalgo's attention to detail really made the difference. Highly recommend if you need a dental implant or crown.
Tennyson Lake Dental is special from the moment you arrive. Dr. Jay and his staff (I worked with Susan, Jodi, and Tracy) always put a smile on your face. In my case, it was a smile I hadn’t had in over 50 years--full frontal crown work to perfection. Dr. Jay’s professional skills, including all important pain management, and his chairside manner are the best I’ve ever experienced. Kept me informed at every step—drilling, color, fit. From start to finish, I knew he cared about me as his patient, and as a person. I’ve never enjoyed going to the dentist like this before.
I have been using Dr. J for years for basic, routine check ups, have been very happy. Recently had an issue that required 2 veneers, I went from very happy with the service that he provides to extremely happy. The time he spent with me explaining the process, making sure that I felt ok, to calling me at home and checking on me, was above and beyond what I had expected. I would and will recommend him to all. And the veneers look great!
Dr. Hildago and his staff at Tennyson Lake Dental are the best in the business. They are professional, courteous and are always looking for the absolute best results for each patient. Dr Hildago and his staff always take the extra time to explain whats recommended. Then they make sure the patient is comfortable and satisfied with the results.
Absolutely outstanding in all regards, from Doctor J's abilities to the very friendly staff and the spotless office. I've had significant crown replacement done by Dr. J, and couldn't be more pleased with the results.
I am so happy with Tennyson Lake Dental. Dr. Hidalgo is a great dentist! He's been taking care of my teeth for the last 8 years. The staff is very friendly too. They make you feel very comfortable as soon as you walk through the door.
Most people don't like visiting the dentist. I look forward to my visits with Dr. Hidalgo. I know his care and knowledge will consistently help me maintain excellent dental health. He knows my history of difficult oral concerns and his knowledge and skill keeps me on a path of good dental health. He listens to any updates I share and he examines my mouth, jaw and bite so as to assess and make any adjustments necessary. His helpful and pleasant office staff and assistants are a team and together make me feel special. I know I am well taken care of in the most professional manner and am getting the highest dental care possible!
Dr. Hildago and his team are wonderful. I needed a single tooth implant & they made the process "easy". I was never uncomfortable. Dr. Hildago walked me through the entire process, each step of the way. There were no surprises. I have absolutely no problems with the implant & quite frankly, forget that it is even there!
Dr. Hildago has been a excellent resource and a wealth of procedural knowledge. He is caring and very compassionate to the needs of his patients. I am current half way through my process and the changes I am seeing are phenomenal! I highly encourage those persons who are in need of a great smile, go see Dr. Hildago. This has been the best decision I have ever made!
Sorry to hear about your problem. I would suggest you contact your dentist as it sounds like your bone graft may be failing. It can be placed again usually within 3-4 weeks after the extraction.
Sorry you are having this problem. I assume you have not had any problems until now. If so, it is possible that the healing abutment may have impinged on the gum tissue when it was replaced after your impression. I suggest you see your dentist and not wait until the crown delivery appointment.
First, sorry you are having pain with your tooth and crown. I understand that you had pain prior to the dentist ever touching your tooth. It was then treated and prepared for the crown and then you did not have pain. Now you do not want the crown? Crown procedures are irreversible. You can't go back. It sounds like the tooth was sick before, you treated it with a crown and then the pain returned. Without xrays, I can only assume that the decay was deep and very close to the nerve. If so, a root canal may be necessary to relieve you of your pain. You will not lose your crown if you do get a root canal. Hope this helps.
I would choose the 3 four unit bridges. You have 6 implants and I assume the 2 remaining teeth will be extracted? Technically it is easier to make shorter bridges than a full 12 unit bridge. Thus, you get more accuracy and a better bite. Hope this helps.
I can understand your frustration with the current crown which shows metal after having the bite adjusted. Please understand that your tooth is not at risk because of the metal showing. Sometimes on a 2nd molar your bite can shift when the dentist is shaping your tooth which can cause a very thin bite on the second molars. If this happens then your dentist has no alternative but to reduce more of your tooth to leave adequate room for your crown which is not always possible or to reduce your upper opposing tooth to make room for the crown. It sounds like your dentist opted most conservatively to reduce your crown with the compromise of metal showing. So, to answer your question, if the tooth is so far in the back that people cannot readily see the metal then does it really make any difference? Again this is a personal choice that you have to make. All the best.
