Can I have crooked teeth corrected without X-rays?

Hi, I'm 40 years old, I use to have braces to correct my teeth when I was younger, but didn't see it through. I want to get my teeth straight, BUT DO NOT WANT DENTAL X RAYS. I have been advised it's not possible, is there an alternative? i just don't want to be exposed to any xray whatsoever Many thanks.
