Hello. I got a thread lift two days ago. Three threads on either side of my face to address sagging jowls and cheeks. I’m very happy with it, and not worried, but there is this indentation on my cheek and I’m wondering if I should go see my doctor sooner than the one week follow up. I’m assuming it’s because the thread was pulled too tight and/or some swelling. Just wanting to get some feedback about whether this is likely to be fixable, or if I need to wait until it absorbs over time.

Sometimes patients experience dimples in the face from a threadlift that is caused by the cones affixing to the tissues. This is where the tension is and it does relax over time. Not every patient experiences this and if they do, it is common and does go away.
Dear mb.x,Thank you for your question. Nose thread lifting can be done with different types of threads which have different absorption profiles. . A commonly use material is polydioxanone (PDO) threads that are 100% bio-compatible and absorbable by our body, and they are meant to last 1-2 years....
Hello! I agree that you could try adding filler around the Puckering areas or you may need them released. Best to consult your provider or an expert in this area! Best of luck to you!
