Can face lift threads be removed after 15 years?

I had the thread lift done about 15 years ago and now they are protruding and gettin infected and I am Quiet worried about them and wanted to see if I can have them removed.

The short answer is that they can be removed and definitely should be removed.  I performed several of these during that time period and although the results were OK and problems few, I was never happy enough to continue offering it to my patients.  Over the years, there have been frequent "improvements" and changes but they are all variations of the same tired attempt to mimic a mini lift, which in itself is a debatable procedure.Having performed hundreds of all types of lifts, both regular and "mini", I'm a firm believer in doing procedures that patients will be happy with for a lifetime.
