I would like to get pubic liposuction done, what's the lowest the surgeon could make my fat pad?

The modest amount of fat in your Mons area can be reduced. This can be done with local anesthesia and should cost you less than $1000.

I suggest going to an expert to treat this area.  Aggressive treatment can lead to scarring and irregularity if not done properly.  You want someone who frequently treats this area and does a complete job.  Also, some of the area fullness is skin and not fat, so you need a formal consultation to see if you are a good candidate.  All my patients follow treatment with a series of Venus legacy or Velashape to enhance the results.  Best, Dr. Emer.

The key in any body contouring procedure is what you leave behind and not what you remove. What you keep can not be measured in numbers only but also in shape, skin laxity , bony prominence etc... A clinical evaluation by a board certified plastic surgeon is key. 

The answer to your question would best be answered by a couple of board certified plastic surgeons. A few things for you to consider.the prominence of your mons pubis(pubic area) is deternined by fat and bone. Some women have prominent pelvic bones contributing to mons pubis projection. such precise measurements are impossible for any surgeon to predict. women can expect prolonged swelling when lipo-suctioning this area so you might have to wait 6 months to see the final results. that being said, if you have a little fat in this area and it bothers you, it is a simple area to suction. would take little timeIn summary a couple of consults are in order. Those are some mighty precise numbers to which you are referring.The mons pubis almost always has some skin laxity involved.As such, even aggressive liposuction will have a tendency to leave it appearing slightly full.Of course, we cannot say this for everyone but more as a general statement.When the skin is tight, then substantial reduction in fat and, hence, thickness is more feasible.Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.

Thank you for your question.The following is based without  examination or photos:1)suction assisted  liposuction (SAL)is often quite effective under local anesthesia2) this area is often fibrous and may require pretreatment with ultrasonic assisted liposuction (UAL) followed by SAL.3)in rare instances the tissue is so fibrous and dense it may require a small incision and direct defatting.All three options can usually be done under local anesthesia. I suggest you make a appointment with a Bd. Cert. Plastic Surgeon who has both a UAL & SAL machines.My best wishes,
