Drains on left side and right side were removed a week ago. These last few days I’ve had excruciating pain from drain site. When the drain was removed on the right it hurt so bad I️ was screaming, however this same side gave out Little to no output compared to the left. Right now it feels like someone poured a gallon of alcohol on an open burn. The site is clean, closed and looks normal. I️ feel a small bump underneath the skin but the pain is unbearable!!!! Any idea what this is? Normal?

Hello,Dry skin is common when tissue is inflamed and stretched. My patients can use whatever lotions they choose however I do advise they take care to avoid applying it near the steri strips/incision which could loosen them. Ask your plastic surgeon what they recommend for you. All the best
Hello,The lump you feel may be related to fat necrosis but may also be related to swelling and contour irregularities related to liposuction. I recommend that you see your plastic surgeon in person for an exam and recommendations.All the best
